Honourable Emmanuel Kofi Ntekuni, an accomplished healthcare administrator and seasoned clinician with over 17 years of progressive career trajectory, is the current Member of Parliament for Pru West Constituency.
His experience spans cutting edge clinical practice, clinical leadership, healthcare governance and serve management in Ghana’s mining healthcare industry. He brings a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic oversight to his role on the Board, drawing from a diverse career that combines frontline medical services with executive responsibilities in some of Ghana’s leading corporate medical institutions.
Most recently, he served as Clinic Administrator at Asante Gold Chirano Limited, where he was instrumental in shaping health policy implementation, supervising clinical teams, leading quality assurance initiatives, and streamlining medical operations for both employees and contractors.
Prior to this, he held various medical roles including Physician Assistant and Nursing Officer at Kinross Chirano Gold Mines, International SOS Ghana, and Ghana Bauxite Company Hospital. Across these roles, Honourable Ntekuni consistently demonstrated an exceptional commitment to excellence, safety, and innovation in patient care.
He holds an MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management from Amity University, India, a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistantship Studies from Garden City University College, and dual Diplomas in Nursing from the University of Ghana and Sekondi Nursing & Midwifery Training College. He is currently pursuing an MPhil in Human Physiology at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), underscoring his dedication to lifelong learning and research-driven healthcare practice.
Honourable Ntekuni is also a published researcher and an advocate for youth development, youth empowerment, youth mainstreaming and responsible political leadership.
