Mr. James Agyenim-Boateng is a lawyer and communications professional with extensive experience in public communication, journalism, political strategy, and governance.
He is widely recognised for his articulate advocacy, in-depth understanding of public affairs, and effective stakeholder engagement across both the public and private sectors.
He has served as Presidential Staffer, Deputy Minister for Information and Deputy Minister for Tourism. In these roles, Mr. Agyenim-Boateng played a central role in government communication, media relations and policy dissemination. He is also a renowned broadcaster and former radio and television show host.
His background in journalism has made him a credible voice in national conversations on governance, democracy and development. Mr. Agyenim-Boateng was the spokesperson for the John Mahama 2020 Campaign and spokesperson for Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, the Running Mate of the John Mahama 2024 Campaign.

From January 2023 to January 2025, he was the Communications Specialist to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Minority Caucus in the Parliament of Ghana.
He helped shape the Caucus’ communications both in and out of the parliamentary chamber and was also responsible for executing key strategic communications functions for the then NDC Minority Caucus in Parliament.
