Benjamin K. Acolatse, was appionted managing director of SIC on July 16, 2009. Until his appiontment, he was Managing Director of Mainstream re-insurance company, the only privately owned re-insurance company in Ghans for six years.

He holds a Bachelor of arts (BA Hons) degree in Political science from the university of Ghana,Legon. He is a Chartered Insurer and Fellow of the Chartered Insuarance Institute (CII),UK, which he obtained in 1994. He was the first African to have won the Rutter Golden Award fom CII- an award reserved for the best qualifying fellow of the institute .

Mr. Acolatse's insurance career started from Enterprise Insurance Company in 1985. He joined the then State Insurance Company in mid 1986 and rose to the rank of Senior Manager, by 1999 having headed the Accident and Motor claims Departments .

Kwasi Osei is an Actuary. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

He holds an MBA in Finance and Actuarial Science from the University of Michigan Graduate School USA. He has held Senior Management positions in a number of top flight Insurance companies in the USA. These include: Trans America Assurance Company, Travelers Insurance Company, Hartford Connecticut; and Golden State Mutual Life Insurance Company – Los Angeles. Kwasi Osei is currently the Director General of Social Security & National Insurance Trust (SSNIT).

Mr. Osei, before he joined SSNIT, was the Executive Chairman and Chief Actuary of TRI-Star Financial Group, a local company. He serves on the Boards of a number of organizations.

Kofi Amoah is a product of Opoku Ware School, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KUNST) and University of California, Berkeley. His professional experience covers Business Management, Business Development and Investment Services.

Mr. Kofi Amoah has a lot of experience in building companies. He is the founder and CEO of Progeny Ventures Inc. Los Angeles, who have successfully partnered with Western Union Financial Services and several African Banks in the global Remittances business.

Kofi Amoah is the founder and president of J.S. Investments Inc., Los Angeles, PVI Ghana Ltd, and Progeny Aluminium and Design Ghana Limited. He is a member of Ghana Investment Advisory Council, past member of the Ghana Football Association and Chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the Ghana 2008 African Cup of Nations Tournament.

Kofi Amoah is currently the largest individual shareholder in the SIC Insurance Company Ltd.

Dr. Kofi Kodua Sarpong holds a PhD in Industrial Business and Studies from the University of Warwick, England. He has a (Bsc.) Business Administration (Honours) and an (MBA) Masters of Business Administration from the University of Ghana, Legon. He is a Chartered Acountant (CA, Ghana).

Dr. Kofi Kodua Sarpong work experience include Dep. Managing Director (Produce Buying Company Ltd), Dep. Chief Executive (Ghana Cocoa Board) and Head of Admin & Finance (International Cocoa Services Division Organisation, London). He is currently the Managing Director of Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) Ltd.

He holds BA Law (Hons.) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology and an MBA from Nenley Management College, UK.

He has worked with Vanguard Assurance Co. Ltd. as Project Officer between 1992 and 1995, with City Investment Co. Ltd. as Vice President (Corporate Affairs/Business Development) between 1995 and 1998.  He served as Director on the following Boards:

He is currently the founder and CEO of Money Systems Group with operations in the USA, Europe and Africa.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon and an M.Sc in Information Systems from Pace University, New York. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Her professional experience covers Information Technology, Operational Management and Business Process Improvement.

She is currently the Country Manager for Next Generation Broadcasting Ghana Ltd.

He holds Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Republic of Ukraine and Master of Science in Public Health in Developing Countries from the University of London. He has been practicing Medicine for the past fourteen (14) years in various capacities including the following:

• Medical Officer, Obstetrics/Gynecology - Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital
• Medical Officer, - Akim-Oda Government Hospital
• Medical Officer, - Ghana Police Hospital, Accra

Dr. Anaab-Bisi is currently a Senior Medical Officer with the Ghana Ports & Harbours Authority (GPHA) where he set up a Wellness/family health unit at GPHA to focus on antenatal care, family planning and HIV/AIDS Counseling and testing (VCT).

Dr. Kwaku Osafo became a director of SIC July 26, 2001. He is an Engineer, Economist and a Financial analyst. He has a PhD in Applied Economics and an MA in Economics from Stanford University; an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School, an MSc in Irrigation and Water Resources Engineering from the University of California, and a BSc in Agricultural Engineering (Civil Option) from the Israeli Institute of Technology, Haifa Israel.

Dr. Kwaku Osafo served as Economic Advisor to the 20-member Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) Lusaka, Zambia, for five years. He was a World Bank Expert for the Government of Zambia for eight years. He was a Lecturer in Agricultural Engineering at the University of Ghana.

Dr. Kwaku Osafo was also the Programme Manager for the 5th Ghana Government/European Union Micro projects in Ghana. He has served over the years in varied international capacities for projects in several countries. He is currently the Managing Director of Kwasaf Development Consultancy Ltd.
