SIC has a consistent history of paying dividends to its shareholder. The board of directors, in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Code has the authority to recommend and pay dividends on ordinary shares.
As a policy the minimum dividend payable is 40% of profit after tax. Any recommendation to pay dividends will be at the discretion of the board of directors and will be dependent on SIC’s operational results, cash flows, financial position, capital requirements and any other factors the board of directors deem relevant.
The average dividend payout ratio over the last five years has been approximately 43% of profit after tax.
