The donation, which forms part of a partnership between SIC Insurance, the nation’s number one insurer and the network was made during a fund raising dinner organised by Enablis.

SIC Insurance Supports JoyFM Read100 Library Project

SIC Insurance Company Limited, in partnership with Joyfm is providing finance for the construction of one of the Joyfm Read100 Library Project in a deprived community.

The project seeks to rekindle interests in reading amongst Ghanaians especially amongst basic school children between the ages of eight (8) to fourteen (14) years old. This is being done in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service, Ghana Library Board, Municipal/District Assemblies, Public Schools Community Leaders/Land owners and the Chiefs and people of the selected deprived area.

Shareholders of SIC Insurance Company Limited, will receive a divdend of GHC0.0177per share totalling GHC3,478,567.00 for the year ended 31st December 2010 which represents approximately 57.44% of net profit after tax made in 2010. This follows a resolution approved by the shareholders during the company's 4th Annual General Meeting held last week.
